DANIELLE HALL has loved puzzles from an early age and enjoyed old computer games like The 7th Guest and Myst. She has 10 years of teaching experience in North Carolina, Puerto Rico, and Germany. My son loves this book, he is in the gifted and talented program at school and gets bored with regular school work. This allows him to stay busy while others are occupied.

I bought this for my 10 year old son. He’s in 5th grand an average student with advanced reading skills. He has really enjoyed starting this book and can’t put it down. I will say I’ve been stumped by a few but it’s really fun working through them together. I included some of the pages he’s done so far so you can kind of see what’s inside.I also really like that in the back there are clues if you’re stumped. This is better than just having answers you can cheat on.We haven’t gone too far into the book yet but so far we love it.

Had a fun time working through this book with my 10 year old. To be honest, there are definitely ones he would not have got with out help and even I had to look up the answer because I was not sure! Overall a good way to spend time together.

LGBTQ themes included in the book. Main character named Ace who goes by They/Them. Decent riddles, not amazing but not super hard or super easy.
