This book is awesome! It basically teaches you to have fun with your desserts without feeling obligated to follow a strict recipe. You can literally throw any fresh fruit in this thing and it will make a yummy healthy sorbet. However, the fancy recipes are easy to follow and turn out delicious also. My only critique is that the measurement numbers (1/3 cup, etc.) are teensy tiny. I just wrote them bigger in the margin for the next time.

I have read this cookbook. It gives me a detailed way of making ice cream and gelato. I haven’t used any of the recipes yet, but when presented in such a clear and concise way, it takes the fear out of the process. I look forward to making some ice cream this weekend!

I was really looking forward to this book since I just got the Ninja Creami 11-in-1 but in all honestly, I didn’t care for most of the recipes In here. It’s definitely not bad, I was just expecting more fruity stuff. I did order another book that’s designed for the ninja creami 11-in-1 so keep an eye out for that review!
