I love this cross stitch book! The patterns are great, clear and simple. The designs are spooky-cute in the best way. It is also easy to swap out colors on the patterns to customize them. The only negative is that some of the patterns have minor errors in them, but the errors are easy to remedy while working on the designs.

This charming book, beautiful in its photography as well as its designs, is a real Halloween treat! There are no tricks here - just the opposite. Clear photographs, illustrations, charts, sample images of floss colours. For beginners, there is clear information about materials, tools and techniques, and there is an index. The designs are utterly charming with sly humour, and for feline fans - this book is full of treats!!! I want to stitch every single one of the twenty- five ( YES! 25!) patterns. The author's finished projects are presented in spooky but gracious settings so those photos are also inspirational. A delightful, seasonal gift for the stitcher in your life, if not for you!

The book is really fun and the patterns work up quickly relative to a lot of cross stitch. They are all unique designs and the patterns are well constructed. I have finished one and am working on a second - I am going to do a whole wall display of them for Halloween!

Absolutely love this book! Outside of Etsy it’s not easy to find modern designs that fit my style! I was happy to find this book, I’ve bought a couple patterns from her Etsy shop and had no idea she had a book! And I’m saving money ,with 25 projects most of which I love and can’t wait to start it’s nice because I won’t be paying $3-5 a project like on Etsy! Only complaint is that there are patterns that call for you to buy floss for one stitch, it is used in other patterns on the book but also for only one are two stitches and I fill like it’s kind of a waste but otherwise the patterns are cute and if you like gothic spooky patterns it’s great! I’ve already finished 2 projects from this book!

I've sent my husband out for a magnifying glass because I'm starting my 3rd project and once again, the patterns are so tiny and similar (a dot and asterisk side by side, c'mon!!) It's not friendly to aging eyes, but the finished projects have been very cute.

This is a lovely book, I will be stitching several designs. I like that they are more spooky season and less halloween. Easy for a beginner. Some of the charts are black, this will not photocopy well for a working copy BUT they are easy enough to follow perhaps a post it to keep your place will work. My only gripe is that since you must use the book to stitch it's not going to lay flat. I wish it was spiral bound. I'm not disappointed with this purchase at all so don't let my comment talk you into skipping this one. It's got great stuff in it!
