5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent pocket guide to Paris!

P.S. · August 27, 2025

Great portable little book packed with information on where to stay, what to see and what to eat. Maps were super helpful and folded out. After our epic trip I passed it on to a friend who went as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Small and Consice

M.M. · December 13, 2024

We are going to Europe soon for the first time. I have watched Rick Steves shows on Youtube and PBS and thought he knows what he is talking about. Here are my Thought's1. The book is small and easily fits in your pocket.2. It tells you places to see in the country specific book.3. Tells you methods of travel to get there4. Mentions Places to eat5. Includes a map of the area6. How to pay for things ETCI could go on and on. It has so much great information. For me the book is great and after reading it prior to our trip, I feel I am prepared for my visit. If you decide to buy Rick Steves pocket travel books, you won't be disappointed

4.0 out of 5 stars Print very small, although provides good information

W.C. · June 28, 2025

I will preface with this thought- I wish the print was larger. I have new glasses as of 2 weeks ago. Even with that, I can barely discern much of the smaller print. It was my mistake in assuming even with this book being smaller, I could still read it. It will go back and I’ll stick with my full sized one.

5.0 out of 5 stars We will see Paris with renewed enthusiasm because of this pocket guide

B.D. · April 19, 2025

Rick Steves' books and shows are excellent resources for traveling. This is why his books are the only ones I look for just before planning a trip. This is the first time for a couple traveling with us to travel to Europe. I thought that giving them this pocket guide will give them an idea of what to expect. "Pocket" or not, this book has many useful tips and lots of colorful pictures. and even includes a map.I bought a pocket guide for each of the cities we will visit. And although we have been to these cities before, reading this book made us view those cities with fresh eyes. And thus, we have picked a few more places and activities to include on our tours.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for a trip to Paris

5.0 out of 5 stars Lightweight but informative

D.M. · July 13, 2025

The media could not be loaded. I love Rick Steeves' travel info & have used his books for Greece and Italy, but those are pretty hefty. This lightweight pocket guide to Paris will be easy to stash in a backpack & pull out at a moment's notice. I can hardly wait for my trip to begin!
