"The first part of this book contained the basic features of the face like the eyes, nose, mouth. The second part contained these features plus many other details beyond the basics. The author explained and illustrated each part, and that was followed by trying out what was previously taught and pages to practice. The author also introduced vocabulary words related to her illustrations. The book was well organized and very detailed. ANGELA RIZZA graduated from New York City’s famed Fashion Institute of Technology in 2011 and has been creating artwork inspired by the wildlife around her home and her favorite childhood stories ever since. She enjoys teaching art and creating activity books that help others learn to draw and use their imagination. She lives in Mahopac, New York.

My granddaughter is 11 and she does art very well. I will probably return this one. Kind of tough to follow and I don't think she will like it. I would say it is better for older kids.

Bought this for my 7-year-old daughter that loves drawing/sketching. She loves it and uses it daily. I can really see her improving her skills and easily follow the instructions in the book even though our mother tongue is not English.
