I bought this book for my 6y.o daughter as she loves drawing and art. I thought this would help her. Though as it says the book is good for ages 9-12, and the drawings probably a bit hard for her ages, but that's not a problem. Let her try to do as much as she can( she tried to draw a water droplet, and its not too bad for the 1st try)) I also draw with her sometimes and its quite interssting!:)

I got this for my grandson, he's a budding artist, 2 of my grandkids actually, seem to have gotten my 'art genes.' I had it delivered direct, so I didn't get a chance to go through it firsthand, but my daughter showed me some of it and I'm quite surprised and impressed. This is a real good book for gaining those basics; perspective drawing is explained well and that is an easy measure of how good instructions are/aren't. Worth the money to me - for certain.

This is a perfect book for all ages! It's great for any beginner of any age who wants to learn how to draw. The step by step drawings are perfect and exactly what I needed in order to be able to figure out how to draw different items.Some other books I've seen show you a line and then a completed drawing and you have no idea how they went from step A to step Z!This book takes you from Step A to Step Z and it's wonderful!

I love this book! I can not find books for adults on how to draw that aren't super boring and just talking about technique. I have learned so much : I would call this " How to Draw: Easy Techniques and Step-by-Step Drawings for ADULTS (or ALL AGES) . Unless your kid is Van Gogh i don't think its a beginners level book , but i love it. There's some easier drawings and some harder ones. Maybe a fun book to share between an older child and parent.Its kind of like the Books by Parragon : "You Can Draw It All"( pink) ,"You can Draw Everything"(purple) and"You can draw Animals" (blue)with all the different authors. Except i think those are more older kid friendly and really break it down more.I have all 4 for myself; so no age limit involved. I will add more pictures later
Great book for beginners!
I really like the way how each steps are explained clearly and the variety of drawing topics explained in the book. (landscape, characters, items...)

The media could not be loaded. Filled with fun activities for the reader and step by step guide. I hope my 10 year old daughter likes it
