Hardcover easy wipe cover .Highly recommend very well constructed heavy pagesI gave it as a gift and his mom said his favorite book to read before bed

A must have for any curious child. Started this series for my 5 yo who has a strong interest in animals, nature, natural science, etc. we now have the oceans, bugs, and animal books and he LOVES all of them… normally a very active boy’s boy, he sits and looks at these on a routine basis. We talk about each creature, fact, etc. it typically turns into further research for both of us (videos, fact finding etc) for about each page… highly recommend these for any science minded, curious child… appropriate for prob 4-10yrs old.

I bought this book for my 5-year-old grandson, not really knowing if he would like it. While the book is still a little to hard for him to read it is amazing the knowledge he has soaked up from hearing us read these stories to him.Brightly colored pictures and the stories and facts in the books are in a format that a child enjoys.

Nice book, quality pages and a nice hardcover. Lots of pictures of common and uncommon animals. We found quite a few that even my husband and I didn’t know about. There are a few facts about animals that don’t include a picture. I feel like it would be better to have a photo for every fact. There was at least one typo that we found. All together it is a nice book, great for little ones to look through and check out fun pictures.

Excellent book. Taught school over 35 years and would have bought this book for my room. I bought 1 book to check it out before I bought enough for great neices a d nephews. Will definitely order more copies to send them, but will finish reading it myself first. A definate keeper. Color illustrations are wonderful.
Great informative book
Bought as a present. Love it. Contains a lot of very interesting information that I was unaware of -- did not know that elephants walked on their toes. Great little trivia books.

I wasn't sure, when buying this book, but I went with the reviews, and yes, it is fabulous... something for everyone...a very easy dip-into book. But after reading a few pages to my nephews, I've been hounded, non-stop for more... Fabulous facts, great for all ages, boys & girls.... I'm a 48 year old 'girl'... and I love it too.

Very informative, tonnes of different varieties of animals with interesting information! Great book!!! My (honestly) smart 6 yr old daughter are very interested in this book and suitable to whoever interested in animals no matter what age range you are in.
