The magnifying glass was a big hit for our 4 year-old grandchild who is into exploring under rocks and other places where little things dwell. The book was interesting, too, and that is great for this highly literate kiddo! I love that it doesn't talk down and has a number of ways to interact with the book. It has stickers, good information that is presented compellingly and a magnifying glass that is safe for little explorers. Excellent! So glad I chose this!

I gave my 5 year old nephew the Nature book for his birthday and it was an instant hit! So, I followed up with the Bird book and binoculars. He has become the "nature authority" in his kindergarten class. Now for summer, have purchased the Bug book and a large magnifying glass. Kudos to the writers. By making these inter-active little volumes that can engage a child for hours on repeat, the authors have produced the best antidote to screen time!

My daughter has a small homestead and homeschools. My granddaughters are allowed to play in the dirt and mud and are encouraged to explore. They loved this book for their adventures outside. We’re going to create scavenger hunts to coordinate with the bugs in the book for nature walks.

Love these explorer books. Over the years we have collected them all. My children, 7, 5, and 3 years old love looking/reading them. This is a perfect book for a bug obsessed child. My children get so excited pointing out all the things in these books that they have found outside while exploring.
