If you haven't read Daniel Goldman's original book. I recommend you get that book. However, this is a very helpful easy to read book that goes more inept off of core concepts of Emotional Intelligence.

When I read Daniel Goleman's work on Emotional Intelligence, I did so without giving much thought to application - and I most certainly did not contemplate the need for leaders to be emotionally intelligent. It was only when I worked my way through this book that things like leadership styles took on a whole new hue and meaning.The book is written in three parts forming a logical sequence from the first to the last. I suggest you read it in sequence in the first pass, and then you can study the sections separately for greater insights.

Why is it upside down?
Brilliant subject and well put together in a tiny little package. I haven't started it yet but will do so and use again for reference. However. A big But. The cover is the wrong way round for the book. To read from the beginning I have to turn upsode down and open 'from the back' of the book. Surely I'm not being unintelligent and this is wrong. Or is it an intelligent trick, that I'm missing the point of.
