–Abraham Lincoln
"Whilst the last members were signing [the Constitution], Doctor Franklin, looking towards the President's chair, at the back of which a rising sun happened to be painted, observed to a few members near him, that painters had found it difficult to distinguish in their art, a rising, from a setting, sun. I have, said he, often and often, in the course of the Session, and the vicissitudes of my hopes and fears as to its issue, looked at that behind the President, without being able to tell whether it was rising or setting; but now at length, I have the happiness to know, that it is a rising, and not a setting sun.”
–Benjamin Franklin (1787)
“The free system of government we have established is so congenial with reason, with common sense, and with a universal feeling, that it must produce approbation and a desire of imitation, as avenues may be found for truth to the knowledge of nations.”
–James Madison (1826)
“If in the opinion of the People, the distribution or modification of the Constitutional powers be in any particular wrong, let it be corrected by an amendment in the way which the Constitution designates. But let there be no change by usurpation; for though this, in one instance, may be the instrument of good, it is the customary weapon by which free governments are destroyed.”
–George Washington (1796)
“Don’t interfere with anything in the Constitution. That must be maintained,., for it is the only safeguard of our liberties. And not to Democrats alone do I make this appeal, but to all who love these great and true principles.”
–Abraham Lincoln

5.0 out of 5 stars Founding Fathers!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Tiny pocket size.
Tiny pocket size - was wanting a normal book size
5.0 out of 5 stars It’s about time (to pay attention to and learn the words of the Constition and Bill of Rights.
I gave copies to my grandchildren and offered a reward. Any of the children who memorized it by Christmas would receive an award. Some of those who appear most interested are in upper elementary classes and in junior high. I have several grandchildren so have been buying these booklets, writing a brief note inside cover and enjoying every minute of it. I was surprised by their true interest in learning the constitution. Even a few elders wanted a copy!
5.0 out of 5 stars purchased 4 already, plan on getting more
As Americans we have taken for granted that public schools were still teaching this. As parents it is our duty as an American to teach our own children if the propaganda machine forgets the most important parts of our history as a nation. I got 4 and will be purchasing more. Fits in a back pocket or a regular size purse. Very important during these times of crazy 9/26/2024
5.0 out of 5 stars Facts at your finger tips!

5.0 out of 5 stars It's the prayers and dreams of America and it fits in your pocket!
You can buy a more expensive copy, that will fit in a pocket. I don't have that kind of money, but I was researching the Constitution so much, because of the criminality of our DC employees, that I thought it would be handy and it is! All our wants, all our needs, all our wishes, and hopes, in a tiny Pocket Edition! God bless the US, and God bless our Constitution!

An important document for studying, the small size makes it good for transportation
Every American should have and know the Constitution of the United States of America.
This should be not only in the library of every single American home, it should be on a readily available surface to be picked up during every newscast or legal dispute. Every American citizen should know this document backwards and forwards, because citizenship is not only a right, it is a responsibility.
