Anime Art Class: A Complete Course in Drawing Manga Cuties is perfect for anyone learning to draw manga. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, and the characters are absolutely adorable. The book is well-organized, making it simple to progress at your own pace. A must-have for fans of anime and manga art!

Anime + Chibi Art Class is a good beginning art guide for drawing anime characters and their Chibi variations. While the techniques shown begin with drawing ovals, the vocabulary and suggested tools seem more oriented toward older readers. It is best suited for people used to drawing that want to learn specifics about the anime and Chibi art style.Both traditional and digital art methods are included. There are ten lessons for each drawing method. Each lesson includes step-by-step fully illustrated instructions for making both the anime and Chibi version of specific characters.Anime + Chibi Art Class will appeal to a particular group of people. If followed, the instructions will teach them how to draw anime and Chibi characters relatively quickly. Still, it doesn’t include the enthusiasm of the author’s earlier Art Class books. 4 stars.Thanks to NetGalley and Rock Point for providing me with a review copy.

What a fun resource for learning to draw in the anime style, with 20 easy-to-follow step-by-step tutorials. I've never drawn in this style but this fabulous book will change that. Highly recommended!

Very cute and informative book.I love the page set up. This is a cute book that is actually helpful showing side by side comparison of chibi verses regular style. Highly recommended, there are even QR codes to go to the color pallets.I read the ebook version
