This book set my soul free. Thank You to John Lindell. Not my first book on grace, or my first grace awakening. I read Chuck Swindoll's Grace Awakening almost 30 years ago - a treasure. Grace is so amazing though that God continues to reveal more. Soul Set Free is the best discourse on Romans 1 to 8 I have ever read.The chapter about Romans 6 was just so beautiful and freeing - I can't wait to go back and read it again (and again...). When I saw a one star review I was like..."what?" But quickly I remembered that if no one objects to your teaching about the Amazing grace of God, you're likely not really teaching grace. Thanks Pastor.

Grace has been one of the most difficult topics to talk about and understand. But John really explains it in simple fashion. this book is definitely inspired by the Holy Spirit, and the word of God. If you’re looking to be set free, time to pick up this book and read it. John goes deep into grace. Just like Romans is one of the deepest books in the Bible.This must read fir every One.

AMAZING! My husband and I have attended James River Church for years and could not wait to read this book! Pastor John has excellent insight and truly lives every word that he preaches. This book is eye opening, whether you're a new Christian, an old Christian, or still searching for something bigger than yourself. This book will aide you in understanding God's grace the way that God intends you to understand it, no other way.

Wonderful book! Easy to read and understand! I am not a person who uses Big words. I am a simple and basic lock my attention in the first chapter kind of reader.John's message is clear and straight forward in a way anyone can understand!The message of grace is so important for anyone and everyone. Reading this book has set me free. I am not the same man, father, friend, nor truck driver I was a few days ago. I have learned, and still am learning, to let go of all of those things I've carried around all of these years. Along with that, I have truly forgiven all of those that I felt have failed me, or done me wrong.I have found a happiness I've never known. Along with that, I'm more cognitive. My memory has improved 100 percent.Do yourself a favor. Read this book, and find what grace is.

What a powerful book. Soul Set Free is incredibly eye-opening and really unpacks what grace is. Many Christians live their whole lives not fully understanding grace and miss out big time. But this book takes you through what grace is, and what it isn't. Many of my family members have read this as well and it has transformed their lives! Makes for a great gift!

Reading this book has set me free. I am not the same man, father, friend, nor truck driver I was a few days ago. I have learned, and still am learning, to let go of all of those things I've carried around all of these years. Along with that, I have truly forgiven all of those that I felt have failed me, or done me wrong.I have found a happiness I've never known. Along with that, I'm more cognitive. My memory has improved 100 percent.Do yourself a favor. Read this book, and find what grace is.

What a powerful book. Soul Set Free is incredibly eye-opening and really unpacks what grace is. Many Christians live their whole lives not fully understanding grace and miss out big time. But this book takes you through what grace is, and what it isn't. Many of my family members have read this as well and it has transformed their lives! Makes for a great gift!
