This book is extremely informative. And contains all the necessary information you'll need to pass the test and get your license as a technician! It also has a lot of information about various Ham activities and background. It educates on various levels on becoming a Ham. Worth the price and time to ready.

This book is organized by logical areas of content for the chapters, with all of the sub-elements of the Technician class Amateur Radio License exam tested in Chapter 10. Within each chapter, there are sections of specific points of content. At the beginning each of these sections are the questions from the exam question pool. Also, the answers to the questions are noted in bold within the text! This makes learning the material and studying for the exam a lot easier! You can test yourself after each short section to see if you understood the material.You can test yourself in Chapter 10 to see how well you might do on the actual exam. Also, the chapters match the chapters on the ARRL's website with the exam questions, so if you score poorly in one chapter, the ARRL website can let you know that, and you can go back to that chapter in this manual and study again.I have found the manual to be well-written, also! The concepts are presented bit by bit. There's a LOT to learn, so this is helpful, being broken down into smaller chunks this way.Highly recommend it. Kudos to the people who wrote and organized this book.

Very good manual.However, Bolo completely ignored by delivery instructions, which were very simple. We will, see how the next delivery goes.This basic lack of customer care, makes me simply want to go to the store and buy what I need, which I can easily do.

I would have given this book a five-star rating based on the information contained in it…but on several of the pages the ink is so faint it’s almost impossible to read. But the study material and test questions are well worth the price.

This is a great book that goes in depth into the material and curriculum that prepares you for the exam. It is conceptual. The material will remain relevant. It actually goes beyond just teaching you to pass the test. This is a book that I will keep and refer back to regularly as I get more involved in amateur radio.

Great book. Actually has WAY more info than you need to pass the Technican exam. I was able to pass the exam by studying all the questions in the back of the book.
