I've done virtually all of my own vehicle work for the past nearly 60 years and have always relied on these types of manuals to do everything even including rebuilding automatic transmissions, engines, doing basic fuel injection repair/replacement, etc. I have looked through it but haven't actually done any major work yet using it as a resource, but it appears to be well written and organized and contain all the information I'll need to do what I need to do and am able to do at my age that I wouldn't attempt without a good reference for torque values and other installation/repair instructions.

Back in the day, these manuals were super handy for the diy mechanic. I got this one for a car we recently picked up and find that it is not too useful. There’s too many different vehicles covered so the detail isn’t very good. So far I’ve found YouTube to be a better resource.

Easy to use! Great detail! Good for my 2017 RX350 Lexus. Always liked Haynes Repair Manuals, have had for many cars, many years, always gets me through the repair jobs!

This book has been reduced to worthlessness. They try to cover too many models in one book, too many engine varieties, and in the course of doing so they have left out all the specifics.The images they present of the parts are also useless. There are far too few, and again, they're trying to cover too much ground. The write ups are so general as to be useless in application.For example, I want to know what tool to buy to remove my Highlander's oil filter. No help, they don't give a size. Not even a chart by year and engine.When it came to figuring out which engine I had, specifically, they were also no help, even though my trim package for my year only comes with one engine. It could have been solved with a simple chart, but no, no chart, just some vague instructions about where my engine number might be.The Walmart part picker app knows what engine I have (from year and trim package.) Unfortunately, while it can tell me the filter I need for my car, it can't tell me the wrench size to pull the oil filter housing. And that information seems to be a secret on the internet (and the book doesn't even try.)The information in the book is useless. There's nothing in it that isn't already in my owners' manual.Compare this with the manual I got for my pickup truck back in the 1980s. That book guided me step by step through a head replacement and several other in-depth tasks with everything I needed to know at every step and warnings about which bolts to mark for proper replacement. Not to mention all the tools I would need, sizes, torques, etc.But at least the authors and publishers of these books aren't threatening the livelihoods of shop mechanics at all the dealerships! That's the only positive to this book. Go to YouTube, you'll find more information there in 5 minutes than in an hour or more of trying to find anything specific enough to be useful in this mess of a book.

En la portada menciona los modelos recientes pero no trae información al respecto, ni tampoco trae diagramas del motor como otros manuales que he comprado de la misma editorial, en conclusión, me desilusioné del libro. No me sirvio, para lo que quería.
