A paramedic partner of mine recommended this series of books to me (he had the pathophysiology one), and after seeing his I immediately bought them all. I'm an EMT and don't actually have to know anything in this book, but I plan on medical school, so I read everything that'll give me a head start.The information is this book is presented with such incredible simplicity it puts every other textbook I've ever come across to shame. Providing visuals helps a lot, especially since some of them are utterly ridiculous and hilarious at 4AM on an ambulance. I learned more from this book than a lot of paramedics know about cardiology. I strongly recommend this one and all the others in the series to anyone at any level of healthcare.

I have about books 10 from this series. I bought this one just to brush up on general cardiology knowledge when moving from the ICU to the Cardiac Cath Lab and it was quite helpful. I wouldn't have gotten through school without them. They are great for getting a solid overall view of a subject. Great for students.

If you are a visual learner I highly recommend getting this book!!! Although it didn't contain everything I needed for my Cardiac section in Nursing school it was a great tool for me to visual images during testing.

Love these nursing books. Great pictures and easily explained concepts that are hard to understand normally from textbooks. As a new nurse these books are great tools for learning. Book came quickly and was in superb condition.

This was a concise overview of what the extensive Brunner book and instructor wanted us to know. I bought the ebook, so Idk how the reg book will fair in comparison. The ebook doesn't come with the extras.

I the colourful graphics! It was in relatively easy to understand English. Concise, excellent explanation of CV anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology!
I love it
I am dyslexic and this was just wonderful. It made everything easy to read and understand and my non-dyslexic colleagues all want a copy. I shall use this series again.
