Author Christian Keyes is a brilliant writer who wrote a fantastic novel about doing the right thing in life; I can relate to the character Amp Anthony who made a mistake and he was determined to change his ways after spending time in prison for a crime he committed. I cried when Amp tried to apply for a job, then he got a job only to lose it because of his record after being robbed at the convenience store; he gets a job as a male dancer after being 'discovered' by Madam Mary Fox, he does well and he tried very hard at making peace with his past. I liked DJ Dime (a. k. a. Allison) who seemed to have the hots for Amp, Madam Mary Fox, Amp's co-workers and Paul, a man who did time as a youth and adult for second-degree murder. All the characters had flaws (who doesn't?!) and I can also relate to the other characters as well; it took me only three days to read this riveting novel and I laughed and cried throughout the book. Amp Anthony was a good guy who made a mistake and at least he didn't play the 'victim' by feeling sorry for himself and he was man enough to admit he 'took a wrong turn' in his young life. I would like to meet someone like Amp Anthony, hold him in my arms and say, 'I forgive you for your sins.' I really enjoyed reading the novel very much.

I like this book because it revealed Amp's backstory. It was a very nice intro to Christian Keyes' series, "All of The Queen's Men." I am hooked on hid series and now his books. LOVE them! They are must read and must stream.

He goes all up and through this story, everything! Not going to mention it on here, you'll have to order and read for yourself.
