I love living libations products, but they aren’t cheap. I love how she includes make yourself recipes. She was especially ahead of her time when writing this going on about the importance of vitamin D as now recent research has shown vitamin D is very affective at anti-aging. Also love oil cleansing. Definitely worth exploring if you’re into natural self care.

This book provides a lot of great info about foundational principles for health. I love how detailed the author gets into WHY you should do something, or WHY you should avoid something, as opposed to having you just take her word for it.I have 3 kids under 4, and I am implementing a lot of her prescriptions in our house. I have thrown out garbage bags full of personal care products, replaced by just a few all natural products instead.I especially appreciated her section on sunshine/Vitamin D, as well as her section on skincare (which includes an explanation of the different layers of the skin, and their function), and dental care. We have thrown out the toxic toothpaste, and my husband actually noticed no longer sensitive teeth when he switched out Sensodyne for Infowars brand all natural toothpaste.I recommend this book to anyone interested in learning more about how to take care of your body, or your kids’ bodies, in a safer and more nourishing way.And FYI, I ordered two different shampoo and conditioner sets from her line and i love them. I notice my hair doesn’t look greasy after 2 days, but rather can go 4-5 days between washes (I didn’t expect that!).

I really enjoyed this book. Very informative. Highly recommend this book to anyone that is ready to make the switch to natural beauty products. What a difference in my skin routine to be smelling the actual essence of herbs and plants rather then lab created scents.

This book is an essential, must-have for anyone even remotely interested in wellness and natural healing. Nadine has poured her heart and soul and extensive wisdom in this gorgeous gem of a book. She has generously shared her knowledge on how to spark your own vitality from head to toe and inside and out. She covers so much and has a great index in back that you can easily search to continue using this book as the precious resource that it is - forever. Not only is it filled with great information, tips and resources, it is filled with gorgeous poetry and images throughout which make it even more of a pleasure to read and look things up in. With this fabulous book, we can learn eco much more about how to care for ourselves and our loved ones with the beauty and gifts of Nature. This book is a dream! Get it!

This book is amazing! I waited a long time for this book, I read it when she first released it, and I am just taking the time to write a review for it. Sad I know! Better late than never. I call this my Bible! Not a "beauty bible" but a Bible because it is so beautifully written and has far more topics that just what's external, she writes about the soul, the sun, the moon, and the stars. I got so much from it, I never wanted it to end! I refer to it quite often. I don't have children of my own yet! But I will be reading them this as a bedtime story! Thank you Nadine you are a goddess! By the way her products will blow you away they are magical!

Nadine goes above and beyond in Renegade Beauty. She mixes science with poetry and makes reading about the body systems, biology, plants, sunshine, and much more absolutely intriguing. Everything is covered here, from ancient beauty secrets to why (and HOW) mainstream beauty and "health" products are doing us more harm than good. There are also MANY recipes for handmade items, so there is no pushing of her own wonderful Living Libations products - even though I think she makes the world's best products, I really appreciate this. I love this book, I love Living Libations, and I love Nadine. It's clear that she has known her path for most of her life, and she's a real expert in her field. This book is amazing.
