I cannot say enough good things about this book! If it were not for this book I would not have passed, let alone gotten an A on our cardiac exam in MedSurg. This book broke things down in a way that I could visualize what was happening in the body. My fellow classmates tried to memorize this material and it was very difficult for them and they did not score as well. I feel that I have retained the information that I learned. I feel confident in my knowledge, which is something nursing students need! I recommend this book to anyone who needs a bit more simplistic approach to the heart. I think that people who have a good understanding would find this book a waste, but if you are unfamiliar with the cardiovascular system or are looking to refresh your long forgotten knowledge, then buy this book!

The information is accurate, easy to find and most importantly easy to understand. The book is great for beginner students or even for those knowledgeable folks who need to 'bring it down a level' to explain what is going on to your patients. Great illustrations, they make it easy to follow the contents and provide that visual so many learners need.

This book was very helpful in helping me develop my cardiac lecture for freshmen nursing students. It is very easy to understand and the pictures are great!! The incredibly easy series is very useful for beginning nursing students and I would highly recommend the books and the magazine! Thank you!!
