The recipes are creative, clear and easy to follow. The best thing is the ideas are crazy creative. Bought another copy to give to a friend.

Jess really knows her stuff and takes the time to explain things. NO I'm not on her team, I saw her on facebook, started watching, and now I'm hooked. She has some good information, and uses some of the same tools and techniques that I have been trying to master, so its good to continue learning from her. Bought the book for my nephew, and one for me, and we are both enjoying the read. This Aussie put a ton of effort into her education and presenting herself to the community, and I am grateful. Man, if this review doesn't get me a t-shirt or hat, I quit ! LOL Thanks Jess

I am keto and I wanted a collection of good recipes that were great tasting and that worked since Pinterest can be very misleading. I decided to get this book since the majority of it was meat with a few bread recipes. I am so glad I got it because it is AMAZING! Everything chapter is separated by type of meat and I’ll admit that I have not used the Game chapter but because this has such a great variety of other recipes for pork, beef and chicken it’s worth it. With a majority of her recipes she will use spice blends and sauces which she also provides the recipes for. It’s awesome!

Nice book. But it is not all carnivore. Not Hard Core Carnivore.It has bread and vegetables recipes including flour. Even though I do recommend this book.

Pryles gives an absolutely superior introduction to what constitutes meat and how the application of heat affects it. Brilliant reference for someone who is beginning to become serious about cooking.

This is actually a great cookbook. It's hardcover with beautiful pics, but it has an unfortunate title. I was looking to add some variety to my carnivore diet lifestyle. I bought this, based on the title and description, and failed to read the reviews. (my mistake) This book is NOT plant free, not a book for the carnivore diet. I gave it three stars because, overall, it's a great cookbook, high quality with great recipes, and tips on cooking meat using a variety of methods. I didn't need cooking tips, I needed recipes and ideas. If you're new to carnivore dieting and new to cooking, it may help you.

Listen, don't be a dumb dumb. You may think you know stuff, but Jess Pryles knows more. This book has it all: words and pictures! I got this book when my wife and son were out of town and spent the WHOLE night reading this thing. Then I had to go to work. BUT IT WAS WORTH IT because the recipes in here will make you cream your jeans. Covers multiple meats and techniques for cooking.
Too American
If you own and use a smoker to smoke your meat this book is for you. Far too American for my liking. How many people in the UK use smokers? No too many I'm guessing. Returned it.

this was more the Carnivore diet
I gave this to my son as a birthday present as he follows the carnivore lifestyle. He was pleased with it as it refers to a lot of what he is doing. the hard copy was very well presented. He will get a lot of use out of it.
