He just opened it today and really likes this book. I do too. I recognize many of the names, they are not obscure players and love the way the author points out useful ways to use God in baseball and in life. I'm going to ask if I can borrow it back after he reads it.

This is truly a unique devotional! It gives so much more to the reader than a typical devotional delivers. Lots of value-adds, and all infused with a heartwarming love of our God and His Word. So fun to hear some of our fav baseball players and managers share their faith along with Del’s practical applications to our daily lives. It's well-organized, too--a quick, easy read!I love the format of the Dugout Devotions books and how they take the players' stories and wrap very practical, easy-to-digest daily life strategies around them. From the player’s story, to the “On Deck” section that provides a perspective on how the story can relate to my life and God’s Word, and on to the “Step Up to the Plate” section that gives practical daily applications, it's a "How to Faith It” until you make it book! I love baseball, but I think any sports lover will love this!
