Each verse is matched side by side with immediate and easy comparison of texts. There are a few pages of modern Introduction in both languages and a concluding 3 pages in German. Since the length in each verse often varies a little between the languages, there happens to be a pleasing extra space among the verses. This seems to invite a more comfortable reading experience.For the size of the volume it is offered at an excellent price. This is a great opportunity to study the Luther Bible and the KJV together.

This is a wonderful value; I was well pleased, and sent for another. You won't be disappointed. It's large format, easy-to-read type. Comparable bilingual Bibles/New Testaments sell for four times the price.

I give this volume 4 stars since the English KJV portion is not the 1611 version, as advertised, but rather the "standard" 1769 translation. As for the authenticity of the 1545 German, I cannot say (I don't speak or read German -- yet!), but in the foreword notes it does state in English that the German was "reprinted" in 1845. All of this said, the volume is much bigger and more impressive than I originally anticipated, with big bold print in both languages and very readable. This was the work the Roman Catholic Church wanted so desperately to suppress in the early 16th century. This edition will be a handsome and useful denizen of your bookshelf.

I purchased this book to help me study German. Since I am a Christian and familiar wit the KJV, I thought this would be perfect. It helps me a lot and I am so happy with it.

Ich bin begeistert von der unrevidierten Luther 1545 Bibel. Ich lese gerne darin. Die Bibel ist sogar noch schöner gestaltet, als ich mir vorstellte!Die Übersetzung der einzelnen Verse in Deutsch/Englisch stehen in 2 Spalten direkt nebeneinander und ist total übersichtlich. Das gefällt mir so gut. Das macht das Lesen und Lernen einfach.Die Schrift ist groß und die Bibel auch. Das Softcover gefällt mir auch sehr.Für das Bibelstudium und gleichzeitig Englisch Lernen oder Deutsch lernen ist diese Bibel geradezu ideal.Danke an den Verlag für dieses kostbare Werk.Dem Verlag und allen Mitarbeitern wünsche ich Gottes reichen Segen.

Absolut Empfehlenswert!Vor Gott ist jeder ausnahmslos ein Sünder (Römer 3:23) und hat somit den Tod verdient (Römer 6:23)! Ein Mensch stirbt, aber wo geht er dann hin? Er ist verloren und wird in der Hölle landen (2. Thessalonicher 1:8-9 & Offenbarung 20:15). Keiner wird dafür eine Entschuldigung haben, denn Gott ist uns offenbart (Römer 1:19-20). Aber der gerechte Gott hat die Lösung dafür und somit die gute Nachricht für alle:Jesus Christus ist gestorben für unsere Sünden, begraben und am 3. Tage auferstanden nach der Schrift (1. Korinther 15:3-4). Wenn du das von Herzen glaubst und mit dem Mund bekennst, dass Jesus HERR bzw. Gott ist, so wirst du selig / errettet (Römer 10:9-10). Es ist also wichtig zu verstehen, dass man ein Sünder ist, Jesus Christus braucht und man niemals gut genug sein kann. Man wird errettet durch Gnade allein und nicht aus Werken (Römer 3:24), durch sein kostbarstes Blut haben wir die Erlösung / die Vergebung der Sünden (Kolosser 1:14). Jesus Christus ist der Weg, die Wahrheit und das Leben (Johannes 14:6).Die einzige Möglichkeit seine Seele zu retten und ewiges Leben zu bekommen ist durch den Herrn Jesus Christus. Das ist der Sinn des Lebens und ich möchte, dass auch du das ewige Leben hast und deine kostbare Seele rettest (1. Johannes 5:11-12)! Amen
