Sick Simon

Description:

Sick Simon is about to learn that having a cold isn’t nearly as fun as he thought. (And also that he should wash his hands.) A clever book about learning what do (and not to do) during cold and flu season.

Simon is going to have the best week ever.
Who cares if he has a cold? And sneezes everywhere, and coughs on everyone, and touches everything.
Germs call him a hero!

Everyone else calls him…Sick Simon.
When will it end?
How far will he go?
Will the germs take over?
Or can Sick Simon learn to change his ways?

5.0 out of 5 stars An honest approach to ill children at school

s. · June 3, 2020

I ordered this book for a preschool Zoom presentation on germs, and it was a great success. The other teachers loved the realistic approach the book takes on germs, yet is entertaining and thought provoking for young children. Bright large colorful pages. We are ordering more. A must for any school library.

5.0 out of 5 stars Gross But Helpful

N. · June 3, 2024

So I work at a daycare and as you know, kids are germ factories. Despite trying my best, I was getting sick a lot, so I got some books to help teach the kids about germs. While this book is somewhat gross, I think it's helpful. It also explains what germs are and why it's important not to spread them. The book shows Simon, while sick, going about his daily life and how it affects his classmates. Then, it shows him trying to combat the germs by washing his hands, drinking water, and resting. Even the younger toddlers like this book.

The best book
