This Daniel Tiger book is such a wonderful way to teach young children about the importance of sharing. The story is simple and relatable, showing Daniel learning how to take turns with his toys and be kind to his friends. The language is easy for little ones to understand, and the familiar characters keep them engaged.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great pre-school read! Has a wonderful jingle that kids can repeat over and over
"Before you take something away, stop and ask if it's ok!" My pre-school students say this back to me constantly, and I used this jingle often when there's a small problem with children playing. If someone says, "Billy took my toy," I can ask the other child, "Did you stop and ask first?" When they say no, we go straight to this little rhyme and it helps diffuse the problem quickly. Highly recommend!

Daniel Tiger and I are killing it at co-parenting. Whenever I can't handle a messy toddler situation, I turn to Daniel Tiger; he's usually able to reason with my little one who adores this sweet revamp of Mr. Rogers's famous puppet. I bought this book about sharing after our daycare informed us that my little girl was being rather aggressive with the other kiddos (She likes to pretend to be a dinosaur. Other kids don't like this game as much). She doesn't love this book as much as she loves some of the other Daniel Tiger books that have lift-the-flap features. Additionally, some of the text is a bit long to keep her attention. However, the message about sharing is sound and gives readers lots of phrases to help kids with socialization and taking turns.

My roller loves this she loves Daniel tiger and won’t stop picking this book up it is great material and the pages don’t rip out…this product is worth it’s value and it’s worth your while 💗🔥🔥🔥💗💗💗

Short, rhyming, goes along with the Daniel Tiger episode. Gentle way to teach toddlers about sharing & not grabbing. So when my twins were fighting over a toy I’d just sing “before you take something away, stop and ask if it’s okay” and they respond better than trying to teach or reason with them. Now they’re used to it & will sometimes say that phrase to each other. They don’t necessarily scream & fight right away and will sometimes talk to each other & work it out. Ahhh progress with less hassle. (P.s. Daniel Tiger is based off of the old school Mr. Rogers Neighborhood & has lots of excellent lessons for small children.)

We love Daniel Tiger in my house. Daniel is age appropriate for my toddlers and he always has a good lesson to teach. My kids enjoyed this book. It was short enough to keep their attention, but also packed an insightful message about asking before doing. We will continue to enjoy this book until the kids outgrow Daniel or it gets destroyed/falls apart.

Great book, I mean for an adult the story and names are odd but it does what it’s supposed to and my little girl likes it and has learnt from it. Would recommend buying.
