Noel Muniz was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, and has been cooking and baking ever since he got his first Easy Bake Oven at age nine. He studied culinary arts at Kendall College for nine months before starting his own baking business, The Cake Poppery, in 2009. After teaching himself many techniques over the years, he has perfected the art of making cake pops. He lives in Chicago, Illinois.

Noel is so creative and explains every step with so much detail! He included 75 beautiful and fun designs making this book is a serious steal. Looking through the pictures the day I got my book I felt inspired to start making them that night! My cake pops werent as beautiful as his, but they came out delicious! :)If you havent bought this book yet I definitely recommend you order it and see the beauty of his cake pops for yourself!!!

I had high hopes for this book and I was not disappointed! So many wonderful ideas, yet simple, easy to follow instructions. I love making cake pops but am not so creative to figure out how to do all these different designs. I am going to have a blast creating cake pops with the help of this book.

I really liked this book. There was a lot of useful tips about preventing all kinds of common errors that happen when making these pops from yellowing sticks to cracking chocolate coating. Some of the designs were really cute and some pretty simple. If one really wanted to start getting into making cake pops then this is a very good beginners book.

I received my book today and was slightly disappointed because I was really expecting there to be alot more nicer cake pop designs like the ones on the cover of the book.However this book is very informative and filled with useful information for those that are new to the cake pop world.

Being a pastry chef myself I bought the book mainly for ideas/inspiration, so in that respect it's a great book and I will have no problem using the ideas in the book as a jumping off point for my own designs (I already use my own recipes, so I can't really comment on that portion of the book).Looking at this book from the perspective of a beginner cake-popper, more step-by-step instructional pics might be called for. The written instructions are very thorough, but for many who are just learning, step-by-step picture tutorials are where it's at. This is a good book, but there are many others just as good that have more thorough illustrations, those would be a better choice for the beginning decorator.If you are an experienced decorator looking for inspiration, and can easily follow written over visual directions, then this could be a great book for you.

This book is Excellent! The presentation of each cake pop, and the directions to make them, are detailed. Also each cake pop is broken into different sections, from baby shower, to on the farm, there is a cake pop for all occasions and themes! Would definitely recommend this book to anyone.
