The Digital SAT Prep Plus 2025 by Kaplan is a well-structured and comprehensive study guide. The 700+ practice questions are varied and closely aligned with the actual SAT question formats. The full-length practice test is especially helpful in simulating the real test environment. The online quizzes and video instruction add extra value, and the 1-year access gives plenty of time to prepare.That said, I found the explanations for some questions a bit too brief, and a few topics—especially in the math section—could benefit from more in-depth strategies. Still, it’s an excellent tool for focused and effective SAT prep, especially for students aiming to improve their score with consistent practice.

I would 100% recommend this book. I got it at the beginning of the summer before my senior year. It looks big, but it's really not. If you start at the beginning of the summer and do one lesson a day then you will be finished by the end of the summer. 20 minutes a day works perfectly. Sometimes you'll be on a roll and work for an hour. I started working on both the math and english sections at the same time when I first started the book, but then I chose to finish the entire english portion first before focusing on the math. That just worked for me because I was better at english anyway so it was better to just get it out of the way. At the end of the summer, I finished the whole book including the practice test. Don't worry if you don't score well on the practice test. My SAT score before getting the book was 1340, and my score on the practice test at the end of the book was 1330. Naturally I was very concerned because I had just done a whole practice book and gotten a lower score than before. However, while I hadn't scored well, I had still learned all those skills that the book had taught me. On August 23rd I took the actual SAT and scored a 1510, a whopping 170 points higher than my last SAT. I could hardly believe it! In short, the book definitely works!

The back of the book makes a big deal out of "You didn't just buy a book." Supposedly, they have a vault of online proprietary resources only purchasers can access. The book provides a QR code and URL, which leads you to a page prompting for the ISBN, but the form does not accept the book's ISBN code. we tried the one inside the front cover too (same 13 digit number as on back). No joy.So, I'm sorry to say, we really did "just buy a book" - a book with, as others noted, many of the same questions you may see in prior revisions and other resources. Whether this book will be a keeper or should be returned is something we are still trying to determine. But if you are thinking (like we were) of buying it primarily for access to unique online content only available to buyers of the book, don't bother; you won't be able to access it.I'll update this review if that changes in the near future.
