About the Author
Lawrence Leff is former Assistant Principal, Mathematics Supervision, at Franklin D. Roosevelt High School, a large urban high school in Brooklyn, New York. Mr. Leff served on many local mathematics committees including a term as a member of the New York State Regents Exam Preparation Committee. He has a strong interest in developing and publishing reader friendly mathematics review courses. Mr. Leff has used his many years of experience teaching and supervising all levels of high school mathematics classes, including SAT Math preparation classes, to create a highly effective SAT math study program.

Many great things begin with a tiny spark, and for Manuel H. Barron that spark came from a mimeograph machine in the basement of his Brooklyn, NY, bookstore in the late 1930s. The product arrived as expected and was properly packaged. I like the way that the book is structured. The first two chapters cover important details about the math section of the SAT and strategies students should know and use. Subsequent chapters have several topics within each chapter and "tune up" exercises follow each topic; answer keys/explanations are provided. These exercises really help students master each topic. I've used various books to help students prepare for the math portion of the SAT, and Barron's SAT Math Workbook is by far my favorite.

This workbook has great practice along with test taking strategies for the Math section of the SAT! It will NOT completely reteach any of the subjects as it is expected that the subjects have already been learned. Great to use as practice with Khan Academy lessons!

Good old Barron’s, 30 years post my SATs and they are still going strong as an effective way for my 16 year old to prepare for the world’s most annoying academic assessment test. Good times!

数学は世界万国共通です。また、大学といえば、今の世の中やはりアメリカのハーバードやマサチューセッツがやはり、最難関、最上級とされている。なのに、アメリカの大学受験用の数学については、あまり日本人（日本の受験生）は知らない。これを読むと、アメリカの大学入試SATの数学問題が、いかにシンプルで簡単で数学の本質を問うような問題であるかがよくわかる。この本を日本語訳して日本中に広めたら、日本の悪しき受験数学やセンター試験数学の制度を改善していけるかもしれない。数学教育に関心のある方は必見！！
