I recommend this book for anyone in the medical field who needs a quick "brush up" on basic pathophysiology from time to time. I am a nurse and have been for some time, amd felt like my knowledge was getting a little but rusty in some areas. The systems approach keeps processes simple and there is also a chapter dedicated to basic cell biology as well!

This book is amazing if your a visual learner. It has all kinds of colorful pics and animations describing the different diseases and that was awesome! It helped me out alot in Nursing School!

Excellent read so far! I previously bought "anatomy and physiology" and "cardiology" and decided to give a "visual" one a try...yep, it's very visual all right! Lots of cartoons make it fun and easy to look at, but even so it can get a bit overwhelming... lots of useful information...Not as much information on each subject as I'd hoped, but I suppose they had a lot to cover...they go through what looks like the basics; I'm no expert yet, but they have similar information in the other book of theirs that I bought..anatomy and physiology.. they do however have more in depth additions for example on the inside of a cell.. again, very well drawn and portrayed.A little about myself: I'm an artist with an interest in health information...not sure where its gonna take me, Good Lord Willing, but its sure fun:)!...

Great product. This is a great supplement to my Advanced Pathophysiology class for FNP. I recommend this book. It's easy to follow and no too wordy like textbooks can be.

This is a good book to accompany a more thorough Nursing pathophysiology book that might be too complex in areas. Also a great review of A&P.

I bought this book to help me in a class (even though it was toward the end of the class when I bought it) and it seemed to help me understand diseases much better. Even if I thought I understood a disease, this book explained it much simpler than I was originally making the diseases out to be. By the way, the illustrations really help a lot as well! I highly recommend this book for anyone struggling in Pathophysiology!
Amazing illustrations!
The "Incredibly Visual" books are fantastic for illustrations (& some photos), they are definitely the best I have seen -- so excellent for visual learners. There is a lack of adequate textual information -- but this is a "visual" book so I'm not surprised. Please note that these books are very thin for what you are paying. I did not look at the page count before purchasing and I wish I had. I was expecting a much larger book (my fault, not complaining, just making an observation). That being said, the book is printed on quality paper and (like I said), the illustrations are amazing! I wish this company would come up with a way to combine the regular "Made Incredibly Easy" with the "Made Incredibly Visual" books. Highly recommended if you are a visual learner but be aware that it is not meant to be a sole source of information (for school) and it's a little light in the page count.

As a student paramedic this book is very good for visual learning. Doesn’t go into too much depth but is Great for revision.
