First of all, the book is gorgeous (hardcover), and frankly quite a bargain. So points for aesthetics, but also for content. I knew much, but also learned quite a bit in these pages, written by an esteemed occult author. Basically an encyclopedia of the occult, and while not totally inclusive, it's good and mpressive nonetheless.Recommended, as it will help beginners especially, but seasoned occultists will learn a bit too. Plus did I mention it's so beautiful?!

This is a really interesting book. Each page presents a different figure or period in spiritual history. It is a hardcover book with full color pages on the opposite page of each entry. I’m definitely buying a couple copies for my friends who appreciate a perspective outside of mainstream religious history. The only drawback is that each entry sparks a different curiosity, and as such, the need for more detailed information.,,

When studying occult history, it's necessary to get the accepted views before delving into the oral tradition . this book provides the necessary starting point for the serious student.

The media could not be loaded. I have this book in audiobook and wanted to physically have a copy and I would recommend this copy to anyone. The illustrations are absolutely gorgeous and high quality clear images. The book itself has engraving all over it. It’s just an extremely beautiful book definitely would want in any collection.

Great read for any occult loving and anyone whom may be curious about its history. It goes in order in time, which helps the reader understand where it came from, and where it is today.

Gorgeous book and of great quality and texture!!!! You want to start from the beginning of your occult knowledge, I would definitely recommend reading it!!!!! And it’s gorgeous and the gold and blue is stunning together!!!!

Given the span of time they covered, it makes sense that they only devoted 1 page to each topic. They could have used 2 pages, but I really enjoyed getting to see the pictures of various historical books, pictures etc to complement the stories told on the other page. The binding is awesome, it's a nice, hard cover book. I really enjoyed the info in it. I'm excited to get his book on Conspiracies next!
FANTASTIC book 🥰
Highly recommend anything from this author. I own his encyclopedia of secret societies and he is one of the most intellectually stimulating authors I've come across. He's a very interesting individual with a list of accolades. This book did not disappoint. It's introductory level but gives a great information to help you in the right coercion to seeking out further information. I own many books on the topic and I did intact learn new info from this book that was not in any of my others.Recommend.

Nice book. Content a bit basic but I understand it has to appeal to a wider audience which is why its written the way it is. Overall a very good book, good quality and the chronological nature of how it is written will appeal to many people. A good first introduction into the mysteries

Really amazing quality book! It is a bit different than I thought it would be, as I believed it would be even more informative and in depth history, but it is great that it summarises it all in such a short way.
