I had to purchase this book after finding it in Danish at our Airbnb during a recent trip to Denmark. I can't wait to make some of my own macarons! The pictures and writing are beautiful.

This book is lovely - cute ideas, pretty little illustrations and overall nice recipes - ideas for macaroons small desserts, high tea, party treat ideas?The only thing to consider - there are so many of these little books available, if you want a collection of them great! or haven't got any maybe this could be a start? There seems to be so many similar books? I'm not sure if it stands a part from others.If you haven't got any idea or any other cookbooks about how to make macaroons it's good as has an detailed step-by-step page- if you do - don't be disappointed. If your looking for something new - this book is a small extension from there, a few new flavor combinations on offer.It is - delicate bright & small! Would make a pretty gift and would defiantly be a gorgeous addition if you like pretty cook books. Pretty book - a few good ideas/recipes.

I wanted to learn how to bake macarons for a friend's birthday, and I was terrified. Macarons are very delicate and oh so easy to ruin so I knew that it wouldn't be an easy task. My first batch from this book was a disaster, but I went back and carefully read all the instructions to see where my mistake may have been. My second and third batches came out perfectly and I'm really pleased with this book.The step by step instructions are easy to follow, the pictures are incredibly helpful, and she has lots of tips to help you understand this delicate cookie. I would recommend this book to anyone learning how to make macarons!
