Alison Farrell has a deep and abiding love for wild berries and other foraged foods. She lives, bikes, and hikes in Portland, Oregon, and other places in the Pacific Northwest.
Kristen Tracy writes books for teens and tweens and people younger than that, and also writes poetry for adults. She's spent a lot of her life teaching writing at places like Johnson State College, Western Michigan University, Brigham Young University, 826 Valencia, and Stanford University. Now she lives in Los Angeles, California.

I’ve given this book to several youngsters in my life and they are all delighted by the story, but especially by the illustrations. Such a sweet read!

These books are so charming. The language and pictures are beautiful. Engaging to read and educational. Also love that it’s a board book and a nice size. We have a kit story aswell and they are our fave books

I gave this order 4 stars because Bolo does not do a great job shipping books. The book itself is great but because it was loose in the box, there was some rough places along the edge of the book.

This book has become a fan fave for my 2 year old niece - she insists on reading it every night! The colorful paintings are vivid and exciting for a little one’s eyes.
