These (this type—from Peter Pauper) are amazing, great page thickness (I occasionally use water-based markers in them and they don’t bleed), all designs I’ve seen from them are GORG, good length, takes about three months to fill if you’re using it as a traditional day-by-day diary. I tend to write multiple pages a day, and write close to daily, so you could stretch them to last longer if you… want? But with such a low price as the ten dollars they usually are, buying one every three months probably won’t bankrupt you.

Nicer in person than judging by the photo. This journal arrived today and it's gorgeous. I'm looking forward to using it and will have a hard time putting it down - seriously, it's that nice looking. Well constructed, nice laying on the table to see the gilt page edges. Lots of lines to jot things down. Couldn't be happier with this purchase. Arrived well packaged in a box. Had some concerns Bolo might send it via envelope and I'd have smashed in corners. Nope - arrived in excellent condition.

Given as a gift to my daughter. Beautiful with gold edging. Nicely made. Compact and easy to take along on a journey. She loved it. I would definitely purchase as a gift again.

Beautifully designed, high-quality journal
I use this as a planner for my music production, and it's perfect for that. While it's a bit small for a diary, the design is absolutely stunning—taken from an 1893 book binding for a Shakespeare collection, which is a dream for any Art Nouveau fan. The paper is a great thickness, and my ballpoint pen glides smoothly over it. Plenty of pages to last a long time, and it feels far more expensive than it is. A total beauty!
