I'm kinda a notebook hoarder so when I saw this, I had to have it.Shipping took only a few days, but when I got it, it certainly wasn't like the pictures. The camera definitely makes the gold and the colors pop out more, because in person it looks dusty. But if it appears with a pop of color on camera, it's fine by me. In fact, I think I like the dusty look.It has a pretty design, the flowers and overall design has smooth bumps and a nice texture where it's not rigid and blends well. The spine has the same design as the border of the cover.I was wondering if I should put varnish on it to have a glossy coating, which it does not have but I didn't want to ruin it.Beige, subtle shiny bookmark.First page is printed with company details.Gold edge but not so visible when you open it, only from an angle.Lines as wide as a fingernail, wide ruled.Back as pretty as the front.When I got it, had to be gentle with the sticker otherwise there'd be residue and paper but I successfully got it off.But yea definitely not as red as the picture shows, more like a dark brown-red

I purchased 3 notebooks to use for manuscript notes and planning. I spent an hour picking out which journals felt right for each project I wanted them for and was excited to see them arrive. They're far more beautiful than I anticipated. I absolutely adore them. The pages lay flat easily without the spine threatening to break or struggling against the bindings, the embellishments are intricate and vivid, and the gold-tipped pages are so pretty paired with the matching golden ribbon bookmarks. My only hang-up is the guilt I feel at having to actually write on the pages now, but that's a me issue. I love them so much, and they're more than affordable for the quality of product.

Good quality & vintage looking
Was really worried about what the paper quality was going to be like but it was perfect. Thick paper and doesn’t let the ink bleed through. The aesthetics are also amazing, gold on the edge of the pages looked so pretty!!
