I love these journals! Seriously! This company makes beautiful high quality durable journals that are priced very inexpensive. My first journal I purchased [the green one in the pictures] about 6 years ago, has taken a hard beating! I thought it was a great reference for the durability and function over time. It has traveled, had pages ripped out, everything shoved in it, had water dumped on it, basically anything awful that could happen to her and still looks great. The cover doesn't have a scratch on it, and not one "paint" chip. When I say this thing has taken a beating, you have no idea. After 5 years of filling it up, I had to search for a new one. And did I search! No information was left in it! I went through every dang journal on Bolo comparing size, reviews on paper, etc. to find the same company who made it. I knew the highlights of it could be found because they are so great! 1. It is STURDY beyond sturdy. You cannot kill it.2. The covers are just beautiful detailing with embossing and gilt trim that stays.3. The paper is amazing! So smooth and easy to write on but thick so NOTHING bleads through! I have used sharpies! Paint, you name it.4. I paid $28 at Barnes and Noble for it so I was happily shocked to find it on Bolo for less than $11, 5 - 6 years later. This has to be the best buy for the best quality!I wish I could give these journals 10 stars! Again, the one I just purchased has the red background. The old one has the green background.Hurry and get one because you will be surprised what you are getting for the money! I am shocked I found the journals after all these years. I plan on getting many many more!

Love it. I’ve been buying Peter Pauper Press journals for 3 years now. They are great quality. Very sturdy with beautiful covers, often raised, with a hint of gold foil. The Floral Parchment journal is my latest buy. Bought it because it has an old-timely classic Christmas feel to it, which felt perfect for the season. The pages are not white. They are cream colored, which gives them a more warm feeling. They are also lined. The journal, comes with a ribbon attached, to use as a bookmark. I like leaving it on my last entry, so that I can always find my place, to write my next one.It is also a nice sized journal, which is GREAT for people who write A LOT! I normally finish one Peter Pauper Press journal in just three to four months. I could never buy smaller journals, because they would be a nightmare to write in. The P.P.P. journals are wide enough for me to write a lot, comfortably.

Bought this for a friend, and have to order another for myself! Scandinavian-inspired, gold embossed cover, perfect year round. Had high quality lined pages (also gold-lined), with no chance of pen bleed, and you can keep your place with the attached green ribbon bookmark. Well-priced win!

Gorgeous book, the embossed gold detailing is beautiful. The paper is very smooth to write on, my ballpoint pen just glides across it, very very nice.
