A lovely small size Bible. I love the single column and the line matching. The pages are thin (like most non-journaling Bibles) and wrinkle easily, but Bibles are like that. Some pages stick together initially, but are easily carefully separated. I love the color which goes nicely with the tabs I chose from Mr. Pen. This Bible is perfect for sitting and daily reading.

This bible is only about 6ish inch tall. Not the full size bible I was wanting. Very disappointed.

The old saying don't judge a book by its cover is especially true with the Bible. In fact, the best Bible is the one that is worn and at the point it looks like it should be tossed - that's a keeper! There's really nothing special about this one, basic, plain, soft and bendable. Print is good. So far I am one of the "lucky ones" wearing glasses for distance all my life yet these aging eyes can still read small print...It is interesting that we continue to redo the Bible and that there are several different ones out there. Not just the cover but the wording/translations. I have an NIV study Bible given to me back in the 1980s. It not only has a reference but lots of notes. I've always liked it and its translation has worked for me which makes it a good reference for me to compare other Bibles. This one is at least half the size of my NIV due to less notes.One good section to compare is what has been called the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus teachings in Matthew 5-7 which is really the core of the Bible at least what He says a believer should be. While slightly different wording, this Bible with the NIV say the same thing overall. And depending on what you really believe you should receive the same lesson no matter which one you read which also depends on where you are in your life.As far as pricing goes, it's really irrelevant. On the one hand the Word is free but it does cost for research, printing, etc. You aren't paying for God's word so much as to keep it out there.

This bible is perfect for referencing and studying scripture... it's simple and straightforward. The text is a good size for me to read. The cover on it is beautiful... the color and the design are elegant. The side of the pages also have a lovely golden sheen. It fits in my purse nicely and has a built-in ribbon bookmark. At the beginning there is a table of contents which is helpful for finding the exact book needed and a preface. In the back is a table of weigh and monetary units, abbreviations, a glossary, and some blank pages for notes.I am happy with this bible... it makes studying easy! I highly recommend!

The cover and pages of this bible are great, I will say the pages are the very traditional type bible pages so I would recommend special highlighters for such thin paper - this isn't a con for me, just calling it like I see it. The references on the sides of the page are a nice change up, especially for cross referencing verses to get more context. Although, for those without great eyesight, the print is fairly small. I would not recommend to those that struggle to read smaller print, but that is not something that bothers me/affects me so I personally don't have any complaints. The cover is a nice, flexible material, it makes the bible feel worn in already, much better than my other bible. Overall, I would recommend this bible, especially if you want the pages to read more like a novel since the verses aren't in column format.

The cross references are a wonderful help in the middle of every two pages of The Holy Spirit inspired Word of God. This soft cover Bible has a very smooth feel and bends well without giving any signs of cracking. The size 8 font is clear and crisp so it is surprisingly easy for me to read, but this is not a bible for anyone who benefits from larger print. Some Bibles I have actually have been quite a bit smaller print, so this is a nice size for me to have a lightweight bible with some study notes and references without being too bulky. The pages are actually attached some together like accordion style, but they can be gently unstuck just showing that this is a crisp, new Bible. Not that this is the most important factor about my relationship with Jesus, but it smells wonderful like the Bible has a fruity scent!

This is a very nice quality bible. The pages are a bit thin but feel like most bibles. The imitation leather feels great. The bookmark strip is attached well and feels like a great quality ribbon. The pages are gold edged. The font is small, but easy for me to read. The single column format is different. Overall, it's a good simple bible.
Good size, layout, make
Nicely made. Pretty colour and practical layout. The text size and one paragraph format is nice for reading. I would prefer a leather bound product for longevity, but this will do.
Good bible, bad font ...
The construction of the book seems solid. It does not lay flat at Genesis 1. It will take some effort to separate the pages during the break-in period.I like the synthetic cover because I always seem to have the idea in the back of my mind that leather implies 'death', and that this 'death' should not be on a bible which is about life. I own quite a few leather bibles. Trutone is a nice substitute.The layout is good. See Hebrews 12 and Titus to get an idea of this.For me the font is too small. It's at my limits and starts to create a tension headache while reading. I could not read all of John 17 in one attempt. For this reason I will need to go elsewhere for a lower/low cost ESV reference bible.I would not buy this again due to the font size. It's really too bad. Other than the font, it's pretty good.
