I purchased this for a bible study that referenced the ESV bible. I needed one that also had center column cross-references. This served the purposes well. It's nice looking, feels nice, and is a red letter edition. This is a really nice bible if you want the ESV.

This edition of the ESV Classic Reference Bible is absolutely FANTASTIC! The 36gsm paper is the best part. The text isn’t line matched, but with the 36gsm paper, it really doesn’t matter. It’s a great bible to highlight in, because there’s hardly no bleed through at all. The TruTone cover is nice, and holds up well.

What I cherish most is my Bible. I have 2 KJV's and have read and studied them for years (one for home, one for travelling). I do have all of the versions on my iphone also. I had given my nephew a KJV but it wasn't his type of language so I bought him an ESV. I started studying with him on my iphone and loved the version so I purchased a 'real'one (there's nothing like a real Bible to hold). It is beautifully made, leather 2 toned to distinguish it from my KJVs, red letter, cross references, colored maps, etc. I wasn't expecting such a complete Bible at this price. The font isn't giant but a nice size; the middle columns of reference are a shade lighter but still readable. I am excited to have this one. It also came 2 days earlier than the estimated dates. This Bible has been a game changer for me. The history and purpose pages before the start of each book has been so helpful to understand the current situation and circumstances for each one. Also, the explanations of the verses provides info that I would have never been able to figure out. My only complaint is the imitation leather cover peels and crumbles on my hands and whatever else it touches. I purchased a zippered cover with pockets to hold pens and highlighters. Easy solution so overall I would highly recommend this ESV study Bible.
