About the Author
DIANE HARRIS CLINE is an ancient Greek historian with a joint appointment in history and classical studies. She is the author of National Geographic's The Greeks: An Illustrated History (2016) and she teaches ancient Greek history as well as digital history and digital humanities at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She received her B.A. in Classics from Stanford and her Ph.D. in Classical Archaeology from Princeton University.

7 yr old grandson needed things to get him thru a long trip. I got him a couple of these books. This was his favorite . He shared his new knowledge with friends and family and the woman who sat next to him on the plans! He's read it multiple times. Took it camping and read it with his headlamp. Highly recommend

If you have a kid that loves mythology then this will be a hit. I enjoyed mythology as a child and my youngest boy enjoys it just as much. It’s really gratifying when he comes out to wherever I am to share facts from the book.

Too much information for a tween and not laid out in an accessible way. Pages are too busy.
Fun and informative
Bought for Greek Mythology obsessed little one. I have ended up reading most of it to her rather than her reading it. She loves the book but the language is difficult for her level.Thought it would be A4 size - my error. I think a bigger book would be better but content is great.

Love this book. This book tries to encompass all of Greek mythology and it does so to an extent. It does not go in depth of every story of classical mythology but provides an introduction and short summary of tales. It is more of a coffee table book. Looking for a book which provides short summary of the entire of classical mythology, this is the book.
