We loved using this book last year for homeschooling. My secondary grader loved it! I wasn’t sure if she’d like because the inside was black and white, but that was NOT and issue! We both loved it. Fun topics and activities that we paired with videos from YOUTUBE and books from the library. She remembers a lot a year later and we’ve revisited the book when covering the topics this year.

We don't have social studies curriculum in our county so I bought this. A friend used the 3rd grade version so I knew the mini-lessons were perfect to introduce topics and supplement with relevant videos and readings.

This is a great beginner lecture for second grade! It has a great mix of Economics and geography as well as history that she needs to know for her year. I use it daily and will continue next year with the followup series! I would like to use this as a supplement along with my globe and some practice test questions on history lessons specifically for her age not just as a main source for teaching.

I am a homeschooling mom and love these 180 Days workbooks to supplement with during our school days. They are one of the few brands of school work I've purchased that my kids haven't complained severely about. They actually enjoy these Social Studies ones the most. They are engaging and perfect for their grade level.

I bought this book thinking that it would be more challenging for my second grader, but it's a little under his reading level. It's still a good book to try out, though. We're only a couple of pages in, so I will update you once he completes half.
