After losing my husband of 40 years in October, I was having a difficult time overcoming the depression, anxiety and sadness of facing life without him. Friends had recommended and even gifted me with books and devotionals, but somehow none of them helped and, though I still looked to the Lord for comfort and reassurance, it was as if I didn't know what to say to Him. I just happened upon this little devotional during an Bolo search and after reading the sample prayers in it, I ordered it...it has helped me so much (or rather, God has helped me so much through it)! The devotions in it are prayers to God, and they put into words how I feel and what I want to say to Him. They are one page each so I can read 3 or 4 at a time and always find at least one says just what I'm feeling and what I want to say to Him. The devotions and the Scripture they contain comfort me and bring me closer to Him. I liked it so much that I bought 3 more to give to friends and family who have lost loved ones or suffered life crises that caused anxiety and depression. (I also worked up the courage to talk to my daughter about my anxiety--I had thought that confessing I was anxious or depressed would indicate my faith wasn't strong enough, but this book helped me to understand that other believers feel or have felt as I was feeling)--and my daughter didn't judge me at all; in fact she talked me into talking to my doctor about it, who was able to prescribe a very mild anti-depressant which has helped me greatly. God truly used this little book and the prayers within it to open up my conversations with God again and to help me lean on Him! I hope others will find the same encouragement that I have!

Someone gifted me with this book 4 years ago and I have since purchased a few times to bless others with it as well. It’s a prayer for each day which I’ve read daily for 4 years. I keep telling myself near the end of each year that I will not continue since I’ve read them all. However, I find myself continuing and actually still find comfort and peace being reminded of God’s love and care. Highly recommend it!

I’m really happy I found “365 DAYS OF PRAYER FOR Anxiety and Depression!” This gem of a devotional book begins with the perfect scripture which I highlighted in my pictures. Upon opening the book these words from the scripture brought me immediate comfort: “He is a mighty savior…delight in you with gladness, calm all your fears, rejoice over you with joyful songs.” Such comforting words to begin a devotional book! This book is leather bound with not one flaw to the binding. It’s rounded edges makes it comfortable to hold. The words & flowers on outside of the book are somewhat engraved & are bold & beautiful. It begins at January1st~December 31st. With each day comes a title, a scripture & a reading that relates to scripture as if I were talking to God. I attached pictures of yesterday & today’s readings. These readings do not disappoint with providing comfort, hope & belief. Each day is lovely to read & lifts my spirit after reading it a couple times in stillness & reflecting on the reading thereafter. I personally relate to each days reading as I suffer from both depression & anxiety, both of which I have mostly control over. This book is additional self-care to myself. For the price I’m very impressed with what I received. I hope my pictures give you an idea of what you’d be receiving. I feel even if you don’t suffer from a mental health diagnosis this book is very uplifting. I plan on purchasing more for my loved ones. I most definitely recommend!

I found 365 days of Prayer for Anxiety and Depression at our hospital's gift shop. I absolutely loved every page! Every day, it felt like the author was reading my mind. Such short pages, but contain so much meaning! Every day, I wanted to share what it said with friends. So, I bought them all a copy! I discovered by looking at the pictures that this book that's 365 days of PRAYER is the same content as the purple 365 days of DEVOTIONS. The layout of the DEVOTION one just looks more devotional. So, pretty much, pick your favorite color! And they smell like a library (prob the leather binding) so I love opening it and getting the smell of books.
Beautiful and quality devotional
High quality, it is a beautiful devotional that is easy to read and that would make a beautiful gift. The cover is not printed, it is like ingraved. You can feel the texture which makes it look and feel like quality.
