As a newbie counselor I needed something quick and easy to reflect on to check symptoms against diagnoses. It doesn't have the codes, so you will still need the DSM, but it covers the major disorders. Easy to use reference guide.

This 6 page document summarizes all the disorders in the DSM, as expected. I bought it during my first semester of counseling classes to orient myself. when my intro books would mention various disorders, I could see the details and context quicker than google. Later on, it was recommended for my class on the DSM.

This was recommended to me when I bought the DSM 5, and I’m so glad it was! It really helped with quick comparing diagnostic symptoms during homework assignments. Still use it to help with differential diagnosis ! Good quality, easy to read, good lamination.

Excellent reference notes for the DSM-5-TR (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders)
This is a quick guide based on psychology's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition, Text Revision (DSM-5-TR). I know all this stuff is on line now, but I still like to have hard-copy in my hand and it saves me having to compile my own little cheat-sheet. It is very concise, handy and laminated to make it last a long time. Do I know how to have a good time or what!
