My son loves all The Pigeon books and had to have this activity book.he absolutely loves it, it keeps him occupied and he is learning while he is having fun. I highly recommend.

Love this book!! All the reviews stating how much kids love this book sold me on it and it has been true for us too! My 4 1/2 year old son has spent hours in self directed play with this book! I think it might be so appealing because it’s just so silly and engaging! Not an STEAM focused book but more about letting your silly creative side loose! Especially great for kids that want an excuse to get crafty with tools like scissors, glue, tape, and markers/crayons. Our little guy doesn’t follow it in any particular order and he makes up all sorts of new things to do as well - we had to give him a zip-lock bag to keep all the extra little characters he started cutting out for fun...both he and our 1 1/2 year old daughter love to play pretend with them. It has created a lot of family interaction as well since we all love the Pigeon character and his cohorts so conversations are sparked as my son shares with us what excites him at any given moment. The book is enormous! Well worth the money for all the time your kids will spend playing with it!

I got this as a Christmas present for my 3 and 5 year old as they enjoy the Pigeon book series. First off I was surprised at how large the book and that it was made with a bit heavier paper that holds up to heavy coloring rather than being a flimsy coloring book. Then when we opened the book and saw that it reads like a book with a bit of a story line, but with tons of great activities in between, I was very excited and realized it is a great book for the price. The boys have LOVED it. They ask every day if they can do "The Pigeon book" and are excited to see what is going to happen with that Mad Cow. The activities are designed and written with great instructions so that you can easily build some great games and crafts with minimal supplies that every home has - scissors, tape, and crayons. There is something to do on virtually every page and really promote not only fine motor skills but also creativity and rather than just coloring (ex. draw your favorite food in the fridge). The activities work fine (sometimes with help) for my youngest who is 3 and is drawing just basic shapes and is perfect for my 5 year old, but I am sure even up to preteen age would enjoy it as well. I highly recommend this book and am glad to have found a nice Birthday gift idea for my friends' children as well.

Initially I was put off by the price but my son loves the pigeon series so I bought it. This book is huge, maybe 2 inches thick. It has a ton of activities in it. Great buy for pigeon fans.

My 5 year old loves this book! There's so much to do! It's so much more than a coloring book. There are things to cut, tape, play, fold, write, draw, and more. It's so much fun and it's a story at the same time. This is absolutely worth the money!

My six-year-old son LOVES this activity book. I am always amazed that he takes the initiative to work on it and has completed several projects on his own (with some requiring some help from me or from my husband). He does not usually like to do "crafty things" and it is difficult for me to get him to color and cut. However, since he LOVES the pigeon, he really enjoys doing these projects. One of the activities is a book signing. He created a story about a boy who was lost in Hezekiah's Tunnel in Jerusalem, but his friend the pigeon helped him find the way out. Then, he cut the tickets to the "book signing" and invited his grandparents and us to the reading of the story and gave all of us an autograph! He followed all the prompts on how to give a successful book signing. He greeted us, thanked us for coming, read his story, gave us autographs, and shook our hands as he thanked us for coming. I highly recommend this book for any pigeon fans!

My children (now 4 and 7) have done each of the Mo Willems activity books twice now. I can't recommend them highly enough! This is a HUGE book and it can and will keep your child happily engaged for weeks. The activities are much more than the average coloring/maze activity books you'd pick up at the drugstore. There's a tossing game, a board game, a book that the child writes, puppets to make, a puppet show to perform, a poster, decorating the Pigeon's house, a newspaper to write, etc. My four year old works on this with a parent and my first-grader can do most of the pages independently but "Big Activities" (like doing a book signing) do require a bit of parent support. This book has Mo Willems' signature sense of humor that my kids just love and find so engaging. Beyond having fun...I've seen both of my kids really develop their fine motor skills from working through this book. My older child is not prone to sitting and drawing or coloring, and this book has really engaged him. It's a great activity book for ages 4 and up, and particularly a wonderful find for kids who are more reluctant artists.

This is such a fun activity book! My autistic son really loves pigeon books and was so excited to receive this as a Christmas present. It has such a great variety of activities, all wrapped up in Mo Willem's awesome sense of humor. It's a HUGE book too! Pretty heavy and jammed packed with more than 250 activities! I love that my buddy has had some great practice with cutting, taping, coloring, drawing, folding, finishing sentences, using his imagination..etc...with one of his favorite literary characters! One of the best parts of the book is that there is a folder in the back to keep any of the pages that you need to tear out! Hours of screen free, educational entertainment!

Totally worth it
My 4 year old loves Mo Willems books about the pigeon, piggy and elephant and squirrels. So he asked for this book. And it was totally worth it. We had so much fun with this activity book. It has soooo many pages! But I would recommend it for kids 6 years old and older because it would've been even more fun for kids who can read and write themselves.

well, this is a English version book, so i prefer to type English. this book has many activities, based on the pigeon series picture books, characters with distinct personalities and interesting stories, it can awaken children's hands-on ability and desire to perform. This book is worth buying, I personally highly recommend it.
