It has lots of color pages with charts, maps, timelines and much more. This book is as expected. I bought used and book looks almost new. Very satisfied with my purchase.

My husband had a copy of this in the past when he was a Pastor of a local church. When he retired, he gave it away. Now, he is filling in for other Pastors and wished he still had it. We were very glad to find it on Amazon and the price was great. It arrived quickly (sooner than expected) and arrived in excellent condition.

I can't wait to really delve into this book. No other commentary is needed. You don't even have to be having Bible study to use it, just the information itself that this book possesses is enough to keep your nose in there.

So many times I have stopped reading or skipped Abram's journey, mostly because it created confusion of his whereabouts. This book gives charts, maps, and tid-bits of info on each chapter of the Bible. It's more than just maps and charts, which originally was what I was looking for.One of the reasons I bought it was because of another review and he was certainly right!! The 3rd edition has extra info for not much more money than Nelson's former books of maps. Buy the 3rd, you will be very pleased!!!

An excellently put together book with great notes and maps. Have used this to enhance Bible studies and teaching. Also has an added bonus of being able to get the maps online so can goInto PowerPoints.
Handy, gives a brief summary the books, maps & photos are coloured and very clear.
Very Good for the basics. If you really want to delve deeper you will have to go for more serious indept (costlier) ones
