About the Author
Dr. David Jeremiah is the founder of Turning Point Ministries, an international ministry committed to providing Christians with sound Bible teaching through radio and television, the internet, live events, and resource materials and books. He is the author of more than fifty books, including The Book of Signs, The Great Disappearance, Where Do We Go from Here? and The Coming Golden Age.
Dr. Jeremiah serves as the senior pastor of Shadow Mountain Community Church in El Cajon, California. He and his wife, Donna, have four children and twelve grandchildren.

Arrived on time~given a pre-order discount~ So excited to give this a full read. I just randomly read some pages, pg 47 "Our longing to be with him..." This is on my mind. I have a hunger to strengthen my relationship with God the Father, his son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. Pg 48 There is a hunger in every heart for the kind of love and permanence that only Christ can give." "Deep within us, we all have that same desire-though we don't always realize it." This is hitting every aspect of my current journey with deepening my time with God. Look forward to updating when I finish reading and studying with it. Thanks so much!

I truly enjoy Christian Non-Fiction Books. The Promise of Heaven: 31 Reasons to Get Excited About Your Eternal Home by Dr. David Jeremiah is the latest book I have read.We all wonder and think about what Heaven will be like. Dr. David Jeremiah has written this book to answers the HARD questions that so many ask. I really LOVE that Dr. David Jeremiah points the reader to the Scriptures about Heaven. He is very detailed with his answers to the most common questions about Heaven. The book is very encouraging and would be helpful to those going through life struggles and more. The layout of the book, 31 Chapters of answering 1 of the HARD questions, biblical truth and real life stories makes the book easy to read. I would HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone who is looking for encouragement and to those who want to know their Eternal Home is ready and waiting for them. GREAT BOOK!
