The recipes are truly tasty, easy to follow, and enjoyable. I like that there are options for all meals including healthy snacks, different types of breakfasts, soups and sandwiches, and quick recipes. A lot of variety too.

This is such a wonderful cookbook! The meals taste excellent, and are full of plant protein and fiber! Recipes are easy for beginners and work nights! Often times, plant-based foods feel inaccessible but these recipes are easy to follow and made with easy to obtain ingredients! This is a wonderful resource for those on a plant-based diet journey!

I am not the best or the fastest in the kitchen but this book makes me feel like I can cook! I went vegan 1.5 years ago and stumbled upon her instagram page and instantly knew she was going to be one of my go to gals for my plant based journey.Her recipes are fairly simple but SO delicious. The ingredients are easy to find staples. Many of her recipes reuse the same ingredients so it's easy to bulk buy on spices, nuts, condiments to cover several recipes.Easy to read instructions and beautiful photos.I love doubling up on the recipes as meal prep for me and my partner.I've had this book for 5 days and have already made 6 dishes!Yes, there is a lot of reading in the beginning but you don't have to read it to start cooking..cook now, read later lolIf you're looking to add more nutrient dense, delicious plant based meals in your life look no further!

This is the book I always wish existed. Healthy options to fuel a fit lifestyle, that are delicious and relatively quick & simple. I love that there are lots of examples of how to change up ingredients or how to do a different spin on a dish for more variety (or if a certain ingredient isn’t doable due to availability, allergies, preference, etc).It not only provides specific recipes but also feels like it is teaching a cooking methodology that can be applied to my own unique preferences that will last long after I’ve tried all of the printed recipe options.

I am not vegan, but I do eat more plants and less meat overall in my diet. I stopped using 'my fitness pal' because of Soph's Instagram. Her actual philosophy is very much aligned to "eat real food that fuels you". If you're looking for macros and calories, look elsewhere, that isn't the point here. The point is - you can vary your diet, reduce your carbon footprint, eat real, delicious food, and fuel your body. If you're a fan of Michael Pollan's philosophy, this book is for you.This book is very adaptable for non-vegans. Recipes are good shells and great for substituting. i.e. I made the hot honey tofu bowl and used real hot honey. I could've also easily subbed the tofu for a different protein.This would be a great cookbook for anyone dealing with gestational diabetes while pregnant. The combo of protein, healthy fats, and good carbs is balanced to level out those blood sugar spikes and many of these recipes make that math easy while still being delicious.I hope there's another book in the future because I'm already signed up.

Truly the best cook book I’ve ever bought! The amount of recipes in here is insane. I love that it’s broken into lengthier vs quicker dishes, bowls, high protein, sauces you can use with difference plates, desserts. I’m not even vegan or vegetarian but I love Sophie’s recipes. I sometimes add meat to them as well! I also love that every recipe has a photo. Definitely get this book if you’re looking for well crafted plant based dishes - whether you’re a vegan/vegetarian or someone who wants to add more plant focused dishes into their diet

This is a pretty great cookbook. I love her approach to protein—she calls it “protein layering.” If you’re looking for a vegan cookbook that presents creative ways to boost protein intake, this is great. I would consider it a good cookbook to have in a rotation, but not the only one you want. I wouldn’t say it’s good for those learning to cook, as many recipes have ingredients and measurements in the British format and others take quite a bit of time. However, for experienced vegan home cooks (like myself) most recipes are good. I’ve made probably 12 of the recipes in the book. There were a few duds according to my family, but there were others they’ve asked me to repeat. Most of the ingredients are standard supermarket fare but there are a few I don’t think we have in the States such as smoked tofu (I just subbed baked tofu).

High protein food that touches your soul with its flavours!
I dislike with passion protein powder smoothies so I am trying my best to incorporate protein in my meals instead. Soph’s book is the only one that focuses on this aspect. I follow her on insta and I tried some of her recipes. They are easy to make and you can personalize them based on your taste. The book is colourful and not boring at all! Love that I see Sophie in a couple of pictures in the book with her delicious meals. It makes me feel more determined to cook healthier as I see her videos every day on insta. Highly recommend to buy the book. You have warm meals, asian fusion dishes/soups, western style soups, middle eastern style, south asian style, everything! Cold meals too as sandwiches, salads, dips, warm sweet treats and cold sweet treats. You will also find info about the plant based diet and how you can be more sustainable in your kitchen with stuff that you already have. Really good book to have and definitely a good present for someone that you love. I am only sorry that there isn’t other platform that sells Sophie’s book in Canada.
Every recipe a total banger! Highly recommend
I rarely write a review because I just can't be bothered, and I also rarely buy cookbooks because usually they only offer one or two recipes that I like, and that's just not worth it. But I thought I'd try this and am so excited about this book! Every recipe is a banger! They taste delicious, are easy to cook, and all ingredients are readily available. Eating healthy was never that easy and satisfying. I also like the short explanations on protein, nutrition, exercise, and so on at the beginning of the book. I 100 % recommend this book, and should Soph ever publish another one, I'm sure to buy that as well <3
A must-have book!
This book is incredible!I have wanted to review this book for some time but I thought I would try and make one meal from this book for breakfast every day for a month before reviewing, to see what differences I felt when increasing my plant-based meals. I occassionally eat meat and fish but I enjoy plant-based regularly. This book gave me so many vibrant, colourful, tasty, new dishes to try which makes eating veggies so exciting. During the month that I stuck to recipes from this book, I had tons of energy, less bloating, clear skin, lost body fat and weight, and generally felt amazing! The recipes are easy to shop for and follow. They are science-backed and Sophie has taken the time to explain the importance of protein, the different amino acids in plant foods, and has protein and fibre counted each meal. The take-home points are simplified if the science doesn’t interest you as much. There is even a useful full shopping list. I cannot recommend this book enough. Thank you Sophie
Fantastic Cookbook
This is undoubtedly the best cookbook I have ever bought. I use this cookbook 4 - 5 times a week and though I'm the only vegetarian in the family, the other 4 love the recipes and ask me to remake each recipe we try. Thank you Sophie for the obvious time and thought that has gone into every recipe.
