the index of the book is incomplete though. lots of things mentioned in the book are not indexed in the back to refer to later. I jotted down in the index where stuff was located for convenience. The practice exams included online helped too.

This book is really good, and covers pretty much everything that's on the exam. I didn't take the Security+ test yet, but probably will be either late 2025 or early 2026. I feel confident that the information in this book was sufficient for me to perform well, on top of my own knowledge.

I passed with an 835 so seems like the book was good enough. I will say though that the practice tests didn't seem to really line up that much with the test once I took it. Obviously it still prepared me well enough but.just something to note.

I'm not a cybersecurity person (zero experience or background knowledge...I never even heard of hashing until I read this book). Read this and took every MCQ at least twice (three times some cases) and passed the exam. Great resource but you need to be aware that this is the tip of the iceberg. Every subject matter needs to be researched further for its connections and in more depth of its details. You will need other tools to pass the test and let these books be one of your number one resources.

The book works, it goes over all of the details you need to pass the test in a easy to understand format. I highly recommend it.Only part that is unclear is the coupon that you get from the book.You have the use the Code in the Comptia Store to buy the voucher.The code does not work on the exam registration site!You use the discount voucher to pay for the exam on the registration site.It will lock you out if you attempt to use the discount code on the exam site too many times.
