I enjoyed this book very much as part of the whole story line. I did not pre-order this book as I have with others in this series. In the past I had issues with stained covers but this book arrived in perfect condition! Perhaps because it wasn't a rushed pre-order? It is something I will keep in mind for the next book.

This is a new backstory for the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland. It’s not a standalone book, but it’s a fun read. As with several of the other Villains books, it gives an interesting backstory to a villain and helps you feel sympathy for the villain’s ending.

It’s important to know that this is part of a connected series, and can’t be read out of order.Valentino references the animated Disney classic, and not Carol’s classic novels.On page 229 the next Villain in the series is introduced.

Absolutely addicting. Couldn’t put the book down, and can’t wait for another book in the series. I get giddy like a child every time a book comes out in the series.

I really enjoy this book series and how they link together. Entertaining read, not been one of my favourites but it is building an interesting storyline for the next book! :-)

The cover was a little bit stained but other than that it was perfect.
