Best little math supplement book for 1st graders. Our homeschool curriculum uses a mastery approach so there are weeks at a time when we aren’t drilling addition and subtraction facts (such as when we learn about time and measurements). I got this to use during these times as a supplement and the worksheets have been fun and easy to use. Highly recommend.

After summer break, my first grader has had a hard time getting back into the homework groove. We started using this workbook as a supplement to his homework and he loves it. He happily solves mathmatic equations so he can color the pictures.

I used this with my 6 year old. The pictures and problems are easy enough to understand, even with a low reading level. The pages are fast to complete, which works well for kids who have trouble sitting still for long periods.

This is a good math book for summer practice. Purchased for my son to keep his math skills sharp. He likes the variety of activities. It is not boring and not the same format over and over. Not monotonous. He will even do more pages than I ask per day. I like that the pages are perforated and easily torn out.

This is second scholastic practice workbook i bought. Though you can get tons of free worksheet online and print them, i like the convenience of having it in a book, rather then loose papers flying through out my house. worksheets are engaging. For example, after addition/subtraction, you have to color based on result. My son finds that interesting.

This is a great teaching tool for Pre-K learning to get a head start or if your child is bored (my son is a little advanced). I learned that my son was bored in Preschool and started to buy these series of Scholastic Success practice books to provide him more knowledge at home. These examples in the book are very practical and easy to teach.
