About the Author
Mike Holmes is the author and illustrator of the book My Own World; has drawn for the series Secret Coders, Adventure Time, and Bravest Warriors; and was a regular contributor to MAD Magazine. He created the comic strip True Story and the art project Mikenesses. He’s from Halifax, Nova Scotia, and now lives in Philadelphia with his wife, Meredith, and son, Oscar, along with Heidi the dog and Louise the cat. Much love to our dear departed Ella.

Good book, not very expensive. I love wings of fire and the illustration version has vivid colors and fine line art. The cover is a smooth nice material, just don’t cut or bend it too much (like don’t dog ear)

My older son used to read the novels until the comics came out. That's when my younger son started to read and these became his favorite books. I made a deal with him that if he passes his test I'll get him this book. And my child studied real hard to get this book. I think one of the reasons he really likes these books, is the way the drawing are made. They are really detailed and make the book more interesting. I'm proud of my son's work in school and passion to reading books!

I love the idea of animus pqoer and how Pyrite is really another dragon! It's a really interesting idea and lead the book into a different direction.

The art within this book is great, I don't like Winter as a character but that's personal preference. It was hard to read the original book seven novel, but this is making it slightly easier (I haven't finished reading the graphic novel quite yet). Great art, great author, and generally great series. I recommend buying.
