This is a great introductory book for electricians, electrical engineers and electrical technicians who want to learn more about the electrical topic not only in industry, but also for commercial and some residential! It speaks very plainly and has great end-of-chapter questions for review! I highly recommend for entry level individuals in the above fields. I also recommend to seasoned electrically inclined veterans as it provides a great deal of electrical information!

this book is for advance electrician i feel as you will learn more by going over the material with someone more knowledgeable than yourself .

Good book really teaches you alot

Almost finished with this book. Up to chapter 16. Lots of issues with this book. Review questions are not always relevant and seem to have been written by someone not familiar with the terminology used in the covered chapter.

Cengage is a terrible company. The entire class struggled using this book; materials were not up to date with the questions, information was referenced that was not actually present in the book. Our professor has dropped this book, and I hope this review will serve as a warning and mitigate some of the suffering of future students and instructors.

I didn’t receive the blueprints!??

Do not buy. Book is in black and white, no color. I spent $100 dollars for a black and white book. I would have paid extra to get it in color.

This book is supposed to come with some blueprints and this one doesn't.The book is useless without it
