About the Author
The son of industry pioneer Joe Kubert, Adam Kubert has won numerous comics-industry achievement awards — including an Eisner Award and a Wizard magazine award. His landmark runs on Wolverine and Incredible Hulk made him a superstar, leading him to work on X-Men titles including the Marvel Universe-changing Onslaught saga. His subsequent efforts for Marvel include revisiting the world of Logan on Astonishing Spider-Man & Wolverine and the blockbuster sequel Origin II. Kubert joined the stellar artistic lineup of the event series Avengers vs. X-Men, and his subsequent work includes All-New, All-Different Avengers; Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man; and Captain America. In 2020, he made a triumphant return to his signature character for the Dawn of X relaunch of Wolverine.

Fun story if a bit shallow. Bolo says it is a 1/1 book release, which would be a bit disappointing as it seems to set up to more, but maybe it's for another series, I don't know.If you have read most Deadpool, you need to read a new Joe Kelly when it comes out. If you have not read much or any Deadpool, I suggest starting with some of the Classics, then Danny Way collection, then and Deadpool and Cable.

The formula is simple. Deadpool and Wolverine = violence. The book is even called WWIII it just does not deliver. Good artwork, the story is rubbish, but nobody cares about anyone buying this book does because of the violence. There are a couple of panels that show potential, but there are just now enough of these.Someone has called in a favour from Wolverine, but Deadpool is also on the job, but what has Deadpool really got himself into?My other problem with this book is Woverine and Deadpool are not PG characters. Why try to make them that way? If there are a couple of characters, you should not bleep out the language it is these two. Also, why turn Deadpool into the most hated movie (Logan) version of him? The book finishes with a varient covers gallery and a sketchbook.
