PLEASE NOTE: This review is NOT for the quality of the story, the writing, the characters or anything to do with Leigh Bardugo. This is one of my all-time favorite duology's....so of course I was going to pre-order this 10th anniversary set! What my 1 Star Review is for is what Bolo sent to me that WASN'T as advertised. These books were supposed to have black sprayed edges, it states it very clearly in the description. What I received was plain edges. And now I have to be inconvenienced by trying to return them and exchange them for what I HOPE to be the correct ones. But of course, I could get the wrong ones again and go through the return process all over again. I am so upset...this is not the first time I have received a special edition that wasn't as advertised from Bolo. Please do better....more quality control. Thank you.

The actual story is 5 stars. I love this book. But in terms of the product, I’m very disappointed. The image/product I was shown had sprayed edges and these are just regular books with no special edges

Everything's fine with the edition, nothing to report, but what's happening with Bolo's packaging services? The cover and the first pages were all bent, and the damage to the cover is irreversible. They should be more careful when storing these products.

Got mine today but no black edges and said printed in Monee IL. It was, without a doubt, a fake. Be careful. I’m posting pics of six of crows that was also fake.

Received the book and the cover is beautiful but the edges are not sprayed black as was advertised. My six of crows copy had black spayed edges

No black edges? Hate that it doesn't match the other book like it was advertised to.

I ordered both books in the duology. SoC did not come with sprayed edges but CK did. Disappointed they don’t match :(Going to reorder SoC and see if I get one with sprayed edges and return the one without.

Fake or Misprint
I think this is either a misprint or a fake. It has no black edges, the cover is smooth as opposed to the Six of Crows cover where the title is a bit raised and you can feel it under your fingertips. Also, the white in the title is lighter than the Six of Crows cover. I just don't think this is the official version.

The book got printed by Bolo and isn't like advertised with black sprayed edges. It's nearly every time that Bolo sends me books that aren't from the publisher but directly printed by Bolo. I hate it. And I'm not sure they're even allowed to just print those books
Faulty
My book arrived with a long scratch down the back of it and came with no sprayed edges like advertised.
